I got my float endorcement
few veeks ago, so there will be some new photos on
floats next summer. Then I think OH-XKR will see
airfield only from air.
My wife and 9 year old
daughter value Kitfox much better than C172 and I
really share their opinion.

tower was taken in feb 2006 by my friend Jarmo
Koskinen in Central part of Finland on Lake Paijanne.
We landed to the port of village Luhanka to enjoy a
pizza after days flying. The Kitfox OH-XKR ("X" stands
for experimental) was built by mr Kauko Vuorela in
1993, s# 1617. Now owned by me. Finland has abt 100
000 lakes, so there is plenty of places to land and
take off with skis or floats. My friend was surprised
of the bush flying. He had thought we take off and fly
circle over the summer cottage, but instead we flew
around from a lake to another and again. He was
totally hooked to flying.
a moment of dream come true. This was the first time
to land with my own airplane on the ice in front of my
summer cottage.
