Kitfox Purchase Terms

Funds:  All funds are in US dollars.

Deposits:  A minimum $2000 deposit is required to confirm your order.  The initial deposit can be made with a certified check, money order, credit card, company or personal check.

Final funds:  The balance of your order is required a minimum of 15 days prior to shipment.  We will contact you when funds are due so that your order is not delayed.  Final payment needs to be in the form of a certified check, money order or wire transfer.

Sales Tax:  Sales tax is not added to out of state shipments.  Idaho residents or shipments within Idaho are subject to a 6% sales tax.

Engine purchase:  With a purchase of a Kitfox kit from Kitfox Aircraft, you will receive a discounted rate on the purchase of a Rotax 912 UL, 912 ULS or 914 UL engines.  Many folks choose not to purchase the engine at the time of order.  We will make every effort to honor the same discount should you choose to purchase your engine at a later date.

Delivery:  Delivery dates vary depending on demand,  typically 8 to 12 weeks without any quick build options. Quick build delivery times can vary widely depending on the quick build option and the current projects scheduled.  A shipping delivery date will given at the time of order. Although every attempt is made to meet that date, issues out of our control can cause a delay.

Order changes:  Inventory and production is based on current orders. Therefore, it is difficult to change orders once placed.

Cancelled kit orders:  The deposit is fully refundable within 15 days of order placement.  After that time the deposit is not refundable.

Backorders:  While every attempt is made to ship your kit complete, sometimes our vendors change lead times without warning and we may not have that item in stock.  We will notify you of any backordered items and will ship them at our expense.

Missing Parts:  The first task in building your kit is to inventory the kit using the packing list included.  It is your job to keep all parts and hardware organized and accounted for after receiving your kit.  Inventory must be completed within 60 days. we cannot provide "missing" parts free of charge after 60 days.

All Kitfox aircraft purchases are subject to the Purchase and Release Agreement

The above policy pertains to the purchase of a Kitfox Kit.  Parts and options ordered at a later date are handled on an individual basis.
